Circulation Services

             To optimize the use of the LMC resources, books and some audio –visual materials may be borrowed and taken out by members of the community.

 

OPAC

Online Public Access Catalog is available in the LMC to help researchers locate print and non-print materials and to view available resources of other libraries in the campus.

Borrowing:

  1. Borrowers present their ID and book/s to be borrowed at the Circulation Counter.
  2. The library staff scans the ID and book/s.
  3. The library staff inserts the date due cards in the book pockets to remind the borrower of the due date.

Returning

  1. Borrowers present book/s at the Circulation Counter
  2. The library staff scans the book/s.
  3. Borrowers leave the book/s at the Circulation Counter.

 

Library Reservation

Teachers may bring their classes to the library for research work provided that they reserve for a reading area at least 3 days before the scheduled visit. 

The library accommodates up to three classes at a time. 

 

Internet Services

Internet Stations are open to all students for free on a first come – first served basis for school and research – related work.  Students are encouraged to check materials in the circulation area before availing of the internet services.

Guidelines in the use of Computer Stations:

  • Computer station is open from 06:30 am- 05:00 pm.
  • Printing of school related projects is allowed before homeroom period, during recess and lunch time only.
  • Typing or editing of school related projects are allowed between 03:15- 05:00 pm only.
  • To save file/s:
    • SEND your files in your e-mail account.
    • DO NOT use flash drive.
    • DO NOT save files in the computer.
