Circulation Services

             To optimize the use of the LMC resources, books and some audio –visual materials may be borrowed and taken out by members of the community.

OPAC

Online Public Access Catalog is available in the LMC to help researchers locate print and non-print materials and to view available resources of other libraries in the campus.

Teacher’s Reference Books

Borrowing:

  1. Borrowers present their ID and book/s to be borrowed at the Circulation Counter.
  2. The library staff scans the ID and book/s.
  3. The library staff inserts the date due cards in the book pockets to remind the borrower of the due date.

Returning

  1. Borrowers present ID and book/s at the Circulation Counter
  2. The library staff scans the ID and book/s.
  3. Borrowers leave the book/s at the Circulation Counter and retrieve their ID.

Library Period

Reading teachers regularly bring their classes to the library once a week according to a schedule that is arranged with the Reader’s Services Librarian.

Other teachers may bring their classes to the library for research work provided that they reserve for a reading area at least 3 days before the scheduled visit.

The library accommodates up to three classes at a time. 

Internet Services

Internet Stations are open to all students for free on a first come – first served basis for school and research – related work.  Students are encouraged to check materials in the circulation area before availing of the internet services.

  • PrintingContent that needs to be printed must first be downloaded by the user into the computer being used. 
  • Database Access.  Users may access online databases or programs for their research needs.
